Schönbuch: Minimalist Design for Home and Office
Schönbuch is a German brand specializing in the production of furniture and accessories for home and office environments. Initially focused on designing entryway furniture, Schönbuch has expanded its offerings to encompass the entire interior design and contract furnishings sector. The brand’s products are characterized by a minimalist design, where functionality is clear but not overpowering. The goal is to ensure home comfort and practicality, achieved through high-quality materials and creative color combinations, providing versatile solutions for any space.
The brand has solidified its international presence by participating in prestigious trade fairs, such as the Salone del Mobile in Milan and Shanghai, as well as Imm Cologne. With a strong commercial structure in Europe, Schönbuch has developed projects for renowned brands and expanded its distribution network, allowing its products to be exported to Asia, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
From Entryways to Complete Interiors: Schönbuch’s Evolution
Schönbuch’s story begins with the development of projects specifically aimed at entryways and hallways, characterized by refined aesthetics. The company seeks to blend beauty and functionality, offering distinctive furniture pieces that are both practical and ideal for optimizing space. The coat rack sector remains one of the brand’s main focuses, featuring a wide range of products, including hooks made from solid wood (Cut), metal (Flare, Bangle), and glass (Bulb), as well as wall-mounted and freestanding coat racks. A notable example is Pina, a powder-coated wall coat rack playfully shaped like a jump rope, while Frisbi combines a brass rod with a glass shelf.
In recent years, Schönbuch has significantly broadened its catalog to include furniture for both living and sleeping areas. Alongside consoles, benches, and tables, the collection features bookshelves, cabinets, wall-mounted units, dressers, and mirrors. Beam, designed by young German designer Ilja Huber, is a monolithic floor mirror that combines functionality with sculptural elegance.
