Tacchini is a family-run company specializing in the design and sale of furniture for homes, offices, and commercial spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Founded in 1967 by Antonio Tacchini, the company upholds a strong artisanal tradition while committing to sustainability, the values of made in Italy, and aesthetic quality. Collaborations with renowned designers have allowed Tacchini to stand out in the furniture sector. Their range includes sofas, armchairs, tables, and modular systems, with a strong focus on material quality, sourced from local suppliers within a 50 km radius of their headquarters in Brianza. The blend of innovation and craftsmanship has resulted in a rich and diverse catalog. Additionally, since 2012, Tacchini has been certified under UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 for quality management.
Tacchini's catalog offers a wide array of solutions for living spaces, including fabric and leather sofas, linear or corner units, benches with backs, and poufs. These elements fit both classic and modern styles, available in various shapes and colors. The Julep collection, designed by Jonas Wagell, has received accolades like the Archiproducts Design Awards and the Muuuz International Awards. The Santiago collection has also been recognized with the German Design Awards.
Among the new offerings is the Five to Nine collection, designed by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto of Studiopepe, featuring a versatile bench that can transform into a day bed, complemented by a round table for lounge areas.
Tacchini's seating range includes various chairs and stools in different styles and materials to meet the needs of all clients, in both domestic and commercial contexts. The Babela chair is a reissue of an original design by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, featuring a beech frame and fabric upholstery. The Memory Lane chair, designed by Christophe Pillet, draws inspiration from 1950s models with a powder-coated metal frame and sophisticated upholstery.
Tacchini's catalog also expands into tables and coffee tables designed for home and professional spaces. The brand showcases versatility through the use of materials like wood, metal, and marble. The Kelly collection has won several international awards for design and ergonomics. The Soap tables, designed by Gordon Guillaumier, now feature new finishes.
The new Pluto coffee table collection, also by Studiopepe, showcases sculptural bases made of cubist-inspired concrete legs supporting solid wood tops. Tacchini also designs modular systems intended to maximize every environment, focusing on adaptability and comfort. The Polar collection, designed by PearsonLloyd, remains current, with the addition of the Polar Alcove system, ideal for creating secluded lounge areas.
