Coventry - Bed Wooden Edge

The night with the Coventry bed, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso for ALIVAR, takes on new forms. The enveloping design of the headboard creates a scenographic effect with significant impact, becoming from a simple structural element a distinctive feature of the model. The Coventry headboard in fact, curves slightly inwards, extending beyond the sommier, thus creating an intimate and welcoming space. The headboard edge of Coventry is made of solid painted ash or canaletto walnut wood. The padding, made of polyurethane foam of different densities with a polyester fibre lining, is covered in fabric or leather in a variety of color tones.

The bed frame is in fir plywood covered with polyurethane foam and fiber wadding. The bed is equipped with a birch plywood base with 25 mm curved slats with stiffness adjusters in the lumbar area (bed base with electric movement available on request). Available in the version with storage base with lift-up slatted base. The ALIVAR collection also offers the Coventry Naked model with fully upholstered headboard without the detail of the exposed wooden edge.
