A narrative of passion and innovation
Founded in 1957, Danese Milano began collaborating with some of the most prominent designers, architects, and artists of our time. Its story is intertwined with that of Italian design, characterized by the use of high-quality materials and a synthesis of forms that transcend fleeting trends. From its inception in the 1950s, the company has aimed to enrich spaces with a catalog of innovative objects infused with contemporary spirit, designed for the well-being of the individual. The goal of Danese Milano has always been to create paradigms and models for both domestic and professional environments, offering timeless design objects. Over the decades, the company has merged the artistic influences of the past with modern methods to address the challenges of contemporary design.
A fresh approach to interior and exterior furnishings
Between 2017 and 2018, under the direction of Ron Gilard, the brand revamped its logo, simplified its catalog, and began reimagining collections to focus on everyday practices that foster people's interaction with their surroundings. Lighting solutions are a highlight of Danese Milano's offerings. Falkland, available in floor and pendant versions, derives its shape from the tension of a fabric tube combined with heavy metal rings, resulting in an organic form. Itka is a versatile opal glass lamp, suitable for wall, ceiling, or table use with marble or painted metal bases, designed for even light distribution. The hand-crafted frosted glass diffuser is ideal for various installations. Itka Base features a straightforward table lamp design, available with marble or ceramic bases.
Elegant solutions for every occasion
Danese Milano's range also encompasses table accessories. Sula, an eco-friendly carafe, is crafted to hold tap water, utilizing ceramic to maintain the liquid’s temperature. Bambù is a ceramic vase that explores industrial design, featuring a matte white finish that enhances its shape. Putrella serves as both an object holder and a centerpiece, made from an industrial semi-finished product, reflecting the design research of Enzo Mari. Finished in transparent painted iron, it is available in limited editions. Camicia A is a vase composed of a transparent glass container wrapped in an anodized aluminum cylinder, offered in various versions.
Innovative design for everyday use
Danese Milano's ashtrays redefine the concept of design. Cubo is a tabletop ashtray combining a cubic shell and a metal plate with an angular cut, effectively concealing its contents. Barbados is a glazed ceramic ashtray consisting of a base and an upper ring, characterized by its simplicity and geometric form. Sicilia is a cylindrical stainless steel waste bin, while Bincan is a shock-resistant ABS bin, versatile for any workspace. The collection also includes umbrella stands and coat racks, all distinguished by functional minimalism.
